Monmouthshire County Council has a duty to manage its trees to meet its legal obligations as a responsible land owner.This post is situated with the Waste and Street Services Department. And the roles primary function is to meet those duties as they pertain to the work and responsibilities of the department in line with the Councils Tree Policy. The post holders predominant activity will be tree surgery and felling operations to a high standard in line with all relevant policies and procedures inclusive of: climbing, pruning, dismantling, reduction of trees and all associated tasks inclusive of ariel rescue.
