Loading Shovel Driver & Telescopic Handler Operator A current valid Loading Shovel and Telescopic Handler certificate along with previous experience is required. Due to site location, transport arrangements should be considered. Pay rate: 13.76 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday Job location: Upminster RM14 Schedule: 4on-4off, 7:30 am-5:30pm Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Loading Shovel Driver & Telescopic Handler Operator to join our successful client based in the Upminster RM14 area. Duties & Responsibilities The role involves operating loading shovels and telescopic handlers to perform various tasks including tipping and loading of vehicles outside in all weather conditions. You will drive the loading shovel to transport materials within the facility and ensure that health & safety standards are met. Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste Transporting material, feeding lines and hoppers with material for processing Supporting general yard operations and cooperating with site management as required Emptying chutes and bunkers Communicating intentions to weighbridge via two-way radio Person Specification Valid ACOP or CPCS certificates for loading shovel 16800kgs and/or Telescopic handler / JCB 550-80 5000kgs Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage Why Join Us?
