The role is one of six seniorconsultants with a various specialist skillsets supported by anEngineering manager and a team of six Principal Engineers (of asolid submarine industry and ex submariner backgrounds). Sittingoutside of the programmes engineering management, EPAD provides anindependent risk-based assessment on the effectiveness ofgovernance, engineering management, and internal controls acrossLevel 1 & 2 assurance activities. The Level 3 output alsoprovides an independent view to the Engineering Authority (EA) andsenior programme stakeholders on product/design maturity andidentifies areas where intervention or improvement may be required.When appropriate the Level 3 activity should also draw uponpan-functional mutual assurance in accordance with IndependentInternal Assurance.Why BAESystems?
