Job Description Due to continued growth, our Private Client Group is expanding and we are looking to hire a Probate Manager to join our well regarded private client team known for its empathy and technical precision.About the roleAs a Probate Manager, you will be involved in the following:Caseload Management: Independently handle the full spectrum of probate and estate administration.Estate Leadership: Taking full responsibility for the end to end administration of varied and complex estates.Technical Mastery: Handling inheritance tax computations, and applications.Client Connection: Serving as a professional point of contact for executors and beneficiaries, translating complex legalities into clear, compassionate advice.Collaborative Growth: Working alongside seven specialists to maintain our reputation for excellence in the Kent and South East region.Technical Excellence: Assist in drafting Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney as part of a Legal 500 ranked environmentAbout youWe are looking for talent at all levels. For those with some foundation in probate seeking to expand their expertise, we provide the environment and mentorship to help you become a specialist in the field.Estate Administration: Proven experience managing the end to end probate processTax Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Inheritance Tax (IHT).Credentials: STEP or CILEx qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.Hybrid working statementYou'll spend at least 60% of your working week in the office, though we know there is no one-size-fits-all and arrangements may vary from role to role.
