You’ll be part of a high performing team managing complex, high-value personal injury claims, ranging from £100,000 to over £1 million. As a Senior Large Loss Handler, you’ll be at the forefront of some of the most complex and high-value motor personal injury claims in our company. This is more than just case management—it’s about making a real difference for our customers and the business. What will I be doing?Leading Complex Investigations: You’ll take ownership of intricate personal injury claims, applying your expertise to assess liability, quantum, and indemnity with precision and care Building Reinsurer Relationships: Play a key role in managing reinsurer-reportable claims, supporting audits and contributing to presentations that showcase our expertise Driving Strategic Outcomes: Use your commercial insight and tactical thinking to resolve claims efficiently balancing cost, speed, and fairness Owning Your Portfolio: Manage your caseload proactively, staying ahead of deadlines and service level agreements while maintaining full control of each claim’s lifecycle Negotiating with Confidence: Engage with third parties to secure fair and cost-effective settlements using your negotiation skills to protect both customer interests and business outcomes What do I need?Extensive motor insurance claims handling experience Proven success managing personal injury claims valued between £500k–£1m Strong understanding of litigation, Civil Procedure Rules, and rehabilitation codes Commercial awareness and sound decision-making skills Additional InformationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
