We are looking for aDay Operatorto oversee essential operations in a dynamic and fast-paced production setting. Key Responsibilities:Maltings and Silo Operations:Manage steeping, germination, and kilning processes. Monitor and adjust parameters to meet quality standards.Silo Management:Oversee grain movements, sample and manage pesticide dosing, and ensure all records comply with safety and quality procedures.Production Monitoring:Assist in the production of malt residual pellets, barley screenings, and collaborate with site management to troubleshoot any issues.Operations & Maintenance:Work with engineering teams on machine maintenance and perform basic operational tasks. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Harvest & Waste Management:Operate machinery including forklifts, scissor lifts, and effluent plants.
