Senior Design Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Design Professional to join our team based in the London region.As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and ensuring that the design delivery process is fully coordinated across all disciplines.Your key responsibilities will include:Providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure best practice is applied throughout the pre-construction, design, delivery, and aftercare stages of projects.Developing and implementing strategies to promote excellence within your function, including in-house training, certification programs, and individual staff development plans.Ensuring that all projects have regular fire, quality, and design start-up meetings to identify risks and opportunities.Liaising with senior stakeholders to manage the design and quality of a portfolio of projects within your specialism.Line managing senior design professionals and collaborating with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.The ideal candidate will possess:Proven experience in undertaking site audits and VLT reviews.Demonstrable expertise in design roles within a main contractor environment.Experience working on BIM level 2 projects, including COBie data and LoDM.A full UK driving license.We welcome applications from individuals who possess transferrable skills and are eager to develop their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.
