Senior Design Project Lead

Job OverviewWe're seeking an experienced professional to manage the design process for a large education project in our Eastern South team.Main ResponsibilitiesLead the design process during pre-construction and construction phases as required.Interrogate enquiry documents, Employer's Requirements, and produce Contractor's Proposal documents in liaison with internal departments.Manage external consultants and drive innovative cost-effective solutions into the design.Ensure designers meet information delivery dates and progress design issues within strict timescales.Attend tender launch/tender adjudication and launch meetings as required.RequirementsProven experience in delivering high-value complex design work from a main contractor perspective.Ability to organize, plan, program, and manage workloads effectively.Familiarity with Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.Understanding of different client procurement routes.Experience of site/contract procedures is advantageous.What We OfferA competitive matched pension scheme, life assurance, enhanced family-friendly policies, discounts on go-to brands, free health and wellbeing services, training and development schemes, electric vehicle leasing, and paid volunteering leave.We're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
