Role/Title: Claims HandlerScroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Role/Title: Claims HandlerLocation: RemoteIndustry: Insurance ( Property Recovery claims)Years of experience: 2- 3 yearsJob DescriptionExperience in dealing with and managing Insurance claims, particularly UK Property Insurance claimsHandle and process property insurance claims efficiently and accuratelyAssess and validate claims documentation to determine coverage and liabilityIf needed : Liaise with loss adjusters, surveyors, and other relevant parties to gather information and expedite claims resolutionNegotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties, ensuring fair and timely resolutionsHandle recoveries for property claims in UK, maximising opportunities for subrogationMaintain detailed and accurate claim files and recordsIdentify and report potential fraudulent claims to the appropriate departmentsProvide excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims processStay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with underwriting and other departments to improve policy wording and risk assessmentMeet or exceed performance targets for claims handling and customer satisfactionDemonstrate strong negotiation skills in all aspects of claims management
