Your day will involve fault finding, repair, andmaintenance of a wide range of plant and equipment, supporting efficientproduction and minimising downtime. Youll work both independently and as partof a skilled maintenance team, contributing to a high-performing andsafety-focused environment.How Youll Make an ImpactPlanand execute assigned maintenance projects and electrical repairs.Diagnoseand resolve technical issues on site, ensuring minimal disruption tooperations.Carryout installation, testing, and servicing of electrical plant and equipmentup to 415V, and support work on equipment up to 6600V.Performfault finding on electrical and electronic circuits and systems.Read,interpret, and work from electrical/electronic circuit diagrams.Conducttesting of electrical installations to current regulations.Supportthe setup and commissioning of machinery and equipment for production.Contributeto installation projects and collaborate with Industrial Engineers.Maintainaccurate technical documentation for processes and equipment.Providetechnical guidance and support to junior team members where required.What You BringTime-servedElectrical Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 2 and 3 plus TechnicalCertificate C&G/ONC/HNC) or equivalent qualifications.Post-apprenticeshipexperience in an engineering or industrial environment.Fullworking knowledge of B.S. 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations andElectricity at Work Regulations 1989.Provenexperience in whole plant maintenance, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 inEngineering Maintenance.Extensivefault-finding skills on electrical and electronic circuits.Experiencewith PLC systems and CNC machine tool repair.CompetentIT skills for use with computer-based test equipment.Mechanicallymulti-skilled with a safety-first mindset.Abilityto work independently and collaboratively within a fast-pacedmanufacturing environment.About the TeamOur Gas Services division offers low-emission powergeneration through service and decarbonisation.
