The ideal candidate will have:A relevant degree and professional qualification in architecture, planning, surveying, archaeology or a related fieldEligibility for membership of the IHBCAt least 3 years experience in conservation or a related disciplineStrong understanding of traditional and modern construction techniques, architectural history (particularly in southern England), and the planning systemExcellent verbal communication skills and the ability to investigate buildings in varied conditionsA flexible, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality serviceAbility to manage a varied workload and work independently and collaborativelyFull driving licence and willingness to undertake site visits, including access to derelict buildings and high-level structuresThis role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the districts historic environment, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and the public to promote best practice and ensure the protection of Harts architectural heritage.How to ApplyFor further information, please call Daniel Baker on 07545 546 986 or apply via this advert.
