Quantity Surveyor - civil's experience onlyA high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.45,00055,000 plus electric car or car allowanceLenham, KentWe do what we say.Thats why our client needs people like youindividuals who take pride in delivering on commitments, with a strong focus on cost control and profitability.Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedQuantity Surveyorto join their high-performing commercial team, working onwater and infrastructure engineering projectsacross Kent.The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure toCapital and Operational Expenditure (CAPEX/OPEX)budgets and develop an understanding ofTotal Expenditure (TOTEX)and its increasing importance in the utilities sector.Youll play a key role in ensuring the commercial success of major infrastructure projectsenabling investment in innovative technologies and helping to deliver sustainable, carbon-positive solutions that benefit future generations.Key Responsibilities:Generate weekly revenue and cost reportsManage submissions of daily completed jobsProduce and maintain Schedule of Rates documentationReconcile subcontractor costs and prepare payment certificatesLiaise with operations and planning teams to monitor progress and scope changesReview project performance to ensure targets are metPrice completed works for high-volume, low-value projectsDevelop strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholdersAnalyse weekly and monthly cost and revenue dataAbout YouYou are an experiencedQuantity Surveyorwith a background inutilities, civil, or mechanical engineering , ideally within thewater industry . Youll have experience managinghigh-volume, low-value works , a good understanding ofNEC contracts , and confidence in subcontractor management.Youre proactive, solutions-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential.Requirements:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)Strong attention to detail and financial accuracyDegree in Quantity Surveying or HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (with commercial management experience)About Our ClientOur client is one of the UKs leading family-owned construction and engineering businesses.
