Qualified Traffic Management OperativesMake your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.Location: Staverton, DevonSalary/hourly rate: 12.50 p/h - 14.50 p/h. DOEContract type: Full Time, PermanentWorking hours: Monday to Friday. Night shifts would be in rotation. Weekends and overtime are available.Role purposeWorking alongside other Traffic Management Operatives, your role will involve working & helping with High Speed Traffic Management throughout the South West, as required by the contracted works. The right candidate must be reliable and punctual with a good attitude to work. Further training to progress in the traffic management industry will also be available for the right candidate. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, with opportunities for overtime. You may also be required to work night shifts which will be paid at a higher rate. Weekend work is available but not mandatory.ResponsibilitiesKnowledge and skills to carry out temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriagewaysInstalling/removing Temporary Traffic ManagementMobile lane closures on motorways or other dual carriagewaysLoad & maintain equipment (temporary traffic signals and road closures etc.)Site maintenance (temporary traffic signals and road closures etc.)IPV (Impact Protection Vehicle) operation to block vehicles and provide protection for workers and motorists during live road maintenance work desirable.Liaise with clients and sub-contractorsReporting any incidents, near misses etc.Ensure that daily vehicle checks are conducted to ensure the vehicle's appearance and cleanliness are of appropriate standard, as well as the driver and passenger's safety.Requirements.TTMBC, 12D (T/M1 & T/M2) & 12AB as a minimum 12C (Operative and/ or IPV Driver) is beneficial but training can be provided for the right candidate who is willing and able to obtain.A full valid UK Driving LicenceProven working experience in a similar Traffic Maintenance roleAdaptability and FlexibilityPass a drug and alcohol testDriven with an enquiring mind and a 'can do' outlookWhy join us?As the UK's leading grounds maintenance and landscape creation provider, no two projects are ever the same and neither are our people.
