This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plant Fitter with experience in the plant hire sector to secure a stable, long-term role with strong earning potential. The successful Plant Fitter will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of hire equipment and heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for customer use. The Role Plant Fitter: Service, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment Fault-finding and diagnostics on plant machinery Working on excavators, dumpers, rollers, breakers and associated equipment Carrying out PPM and safety inspections Preparing hire equipment for dispatch and return Mobile and workshop-based repairs as a Plant Fitter Completing service reports and documentation Requirements Plant Fitter: Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Plant Engineer Experience working within a plant hire environment preferred Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge Qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work independently as a Plant Fitter Strong attention to detail and fault-finding skills Package: Up to 45,000 basic salary Overtime available Company pension 25 days holiday + bank holidays Training and development Long-term job security Career progression opportunities This is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Fitter to join a reputable hire company that values its engineers and offers excellent earning potential.
