Person specificationA detail-oriented and experienced finance professional who is:Proficient in Xero with solid experience in a finance departmentManagement accounting experience is an essential Highly organised, numerate and confident, managing multiple finance tasksSkilled in all aspects of accounting and cash flow managementAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesA strong communicator who handles data with discretion and careHolds a valid DBS or is willing to undergo a checkHas access to a vehicle due to our rural Tonbridge locationIdeally hold or be working towards an Accountancy/ finance qualificationRight to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship What youll be doing:Support management accounts, reporting and analysis to guide financial decisionsManage budgeting, forecasting and assist with year-end processes and journalsOversee purchase and sales ledger tasks, including payments, invoices and credit controlLead daily bank reconciliations, petty cash, and monthly income reportingHelp transition our systems from Sage to Xero, improving efficiencyProvide support across the finance function with queries, admin and complianceWhats on offer:Salary of 28,00035,000 FTE (30 hours/week negotiable)Office-based role with free parking - Hybrid 1 day a week past probation Pension scheme, paid leave (starting at 22 days pro rata), and paid sick leaveWellbeing support programme and a friendly, inclusive environmentLocation:Tonbridge, office-based, surrounded by countryside.
