Job OverviewWe are seeking a law graduate with a minimum of 5 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in a Bank or NBFC. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in civil and criminal court proceedings, demonstrate a proactive approach, and be capable of managing a legal portfolio independently. Strong leadership, team mentoring, and collaboration skills are essential. Key RequirementsThe applicant should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to independently draft replies and representations on behalf of the Bank. Core Legal CompetenciesIn-depth understanding ofcourt procedures and operations , both civil and criminal.Proficient knowledge of theArbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996(latest amendments), with experience in coordinating with advocates for interim reliefs under Sections 9 and 17, and for facilitating arbitral awards.Skilled inexecution of arbitral awardsand follow-up processes.Familiarity with proceedings under theNegotiable Instruments Act, 1881and thePayment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 .Experience in initiating and tracking complaints related to FIRs, including filings underSection 175 and 223 of BNSS(equivalent to Sections 156(3) and 200 of Cr.P.C.).Effectiveliaison with police authoritiesto ensure execution of summons and warrants.Competence in handling matters under theConsumer Protection Act(as amended).Strong grounding incivil and recovery lawsrelevant to banks and NBFCs.Knowledge ofDebt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) proceduresand ability to manage related litigation.Additional ExpectationsWillingness to collaborate with thefield team for on-ground executionof legal orders.Ability to address and resolve customerescalations involving the Reserve Bank of Indiaand other regulatory bodies.Proficient in usingtechnology tools for documentation, reporting, and MIS presentationsto management.Apply HereView Job on LinkedIn #J-18808-Ljbffr
