About the role We are looking for an experienced Construction Buyer to take ownership of the procurement process across multiple projects, ensuring materials, services, and suppliers are managed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery Raise and manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation Work closely with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements, schedules, and budgets Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery Manage stock levels, lead times, and logistics to ensure efficient project progression Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and supply chain improvements Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations The Ideal Candidate We're seeking a Construction Buyer who thrives in fast-paced, detail-focused environments and can manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
