Civils construction contractor requires a Cost Clerk / Cost Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis, based in Essex. Hours are 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday. Hybrid work is available. Responsibilities:Manage the close out of costs for construction projects, ensuring anything outstanding is dealt with promptlyLiaise with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on site, as well as internal and external supply chain, regarding all cost mattersTake part in commercial meetingsProcess Goods Received Notes (GRN) from siteWork with suppliers and site teams regarding delivery of plant and materials to allow for paymentWork with those responsible for purchasing plant and materials to deal with any order queriesCross reference with purchase ledger team in order to match invoices with GRNVerify payments, GRNs and invoices to finalise accountsProcess any site returnsEnsure the timely resolution of any invoice queriesAssist commercial team by providing information on project costs during preparation of final accountsAttend sites to ensure they are up-to-date on project costs and keeping within budgetRequirements:Full driving licencePrevious experience as a Cost Clerk or Cost Administrator in the construction or engineering sectorsApply to Andrew Snelgrove at Deploy.
