Assistant Category Manager

Assistant Category Manager (Maternity cover for 14 months) Based north of Doncaster, paying up to 35,000 6% completion bonus, starting October 2025, 14-month full time contract. Yorkshire Talent Partners are proud to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business just north of Doncaster, as they look to welcome an experienced Assistant Category Manager to their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied role where youll work closely with the Head of Category Management, taking ownership of your own product portfolio while playing a key part in supporting the sales team. Youll get involved in everything from analysing market and competitor trends, to supporting new product launches, building business plans, and ensuring product data is accurate and up to date. Track sales data to highlight trends and support growth plans. Play a key role in product launches, category plans, and new product introductions. Support sales with tenders and provide up-to-date product information. Ensure all data is accurate across websites, systems, and internal databases. Contribute ideas and insight in regular team meetings. What were looking for: Previous experience as an Assistant Category Manager or Assistant Product Manager . Confident with MS Excel at an intermediate level. Strong organisational skills and able to manage deadlines. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
