Job Description Role: M&E Engineer Mobile RoleLocation: Covering RAF Honington, RAF Marham & Wattisham Flying StationSalary: Up to 45,000 + Company Car/Car AllowanceType: Permanent, Full-TimeThe RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities and estate maintenance team supporting critical defence infrastructure. This is a mobile position where you will play a key role in ensuring maintenance, compliance, and technical service delivery across multiple sites.You will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of mechanical and electrical works, ensuring all activities meet required standards and Safe Systems of Work. The role offers a varied workload, combining technical oversight, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on operational support.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure contractual obligations are delivered safely, on time, and in line with JSP375 requirementsProduce and review Risk Assessments and Method StatementsAssess the competence of skilled personnel and provide technical guidanceSupport site teams, supply chain partners, and end users with technical adviceContribute to project delivery and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainabilityProvide professional advice on Safe Systems of Work and compliance proceduresBuild strong working relationships with stakeholders and operational teamsSupervise, coach, and assess Skilled Persons to ensure safe working practicesSupport estate safety and compliance by identifying and addressing potential risksAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will:Be a fully qualified Mechanical or Electrical EngineerIdeally hold Authorised Person (AP) status in Electrical or Mechanical (training can be provided)Have strong experience working with Safe Systems of Work, particularly JSP375Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsBe confident working independently across multiple sitesHave experience supervising site operations and supporting teamsHold a full UK driving licenceBe willing to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotaWhats On OfferSalary up to 45,000Company car or car allowance6% matched pension contribution25 days annual leavePrivate medical cover (single)Opportunities to gain AP Traning/CertificatesAccess to nationally recognised training and qualificationsJBRP1_UKTJ
