Full TimeI am currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Unit Manager to join a well-established care home in Watton, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong and motivated Nurse Leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care and supporting the development of a high-performing clinical team.Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of nursing and care delivery for residents.The Role As Care Home Unit Manager, you will:Support the Home Manager in the overall clinical and operational management of the homeDevelop and implement effective clinical governance policies in line with NICE guidelines, NMC standards, and all regulatory requirementsLead, mentor and coach nurses and carers to ensure best practice in medication administration, wound care and ongoing resident assessmentsEnsure care plans and clinical records are accurate, up to date and fully reflective of residents needsMonitor and review clinical standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changesAct as a visible clinical role model, promoting excellence in person-centred careFoster a positive, supportive and engaging working environment for all staffThis is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strong clinical expertise and the ability to inspire and develop others.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:NMC registration with relevant post-registration experienceProven experience as a Nurse Manager or in a similar clinical leadership role within the care sectorStrong clinical skills with a clear focus on person-centred careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA supportive leadership style with strong coaching and mentoring abilityThe ability to prioritise effectively and perform well under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood IT skills and experience maintaining electronic care recordsWhats on OfferSalary of 50,000 per annumComprehensive induction and ongoing training programmeClear opportunities for career development and progressionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeBlue Light Card Scheme (enrolment fee reimbursed)Loyalty Bonus accrue up to 5 additional annual leave days based on length of serviceFull DBS paidAnnual NMC PIN renewal paidYoull be joining a supportive and enthusiastic management team where staff wellbeing is genuinely valued.
