Probate Solicitor/Practitioner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Practitioner to join our reputable legal practice. The successful candidate will specialise in advising individuals on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and related matters. Responsibilities Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, and estate planning documents to meet clients individual needs Advising clients on inheritance tax planning and estate administration processes Managing probate applications and estate administration procedures efficiently Negotiating terms of trusts and settlement arrangements with clients and third parties Providing clear legal guidance on succession planning and asset protection strategies Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded Keeping abreast of changes in legislation affecting private client matters and advising accordingly Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies Experience Proven experience as a Private Client Practitioner (5+ PQE required) or in a similar role within a reputable legal firm Strong understanding of estate planning, wills, trusts, probate law, and inheritance tax legislation Demonstrable negotiation skills essential for managing client expectations and third-party agreements Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneouslyThis role offers an engaging environment for a motivated legal professional looking to specialise further within private client law.
