HGV Drum Mixer Driver

Axtell is a long established and expanding supplier of goods and services to the construction industry. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced Drum Mixer drivers for our Ready-Mix Concrete depot at Thatcham. Your job will be to supply on time deliveries to our customers whilst ensuring your vehicle is well maintained and complying with all safety and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: Ensure legal requirements for driver hours and working time regulations are met. Complete necessary vehicle inspections and report any issues or defects. Comply with all road safety regulations and company RAMS and policies. Follow safe working practices and all times. Have a good geographical knowledge of our operating area. Provide excellent customer service. Requirements: Experience of driving Concrete Drum Mixer (at least 1 year) Valid HGV Class C licence. Valid CPC qualification. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A commitment to safety and attention to detail. On Target Earnings - up to 40-45k per annum. We offer top rates of pay and are currently happy to consider hiring on a full-time basis or as a self-employed contractor. In addition to daywork, we undertake supplies of specialist concrete to the highways industry nationally, with the opportunity to undertake weekend work at higher pay rates.Offers of employment are subject to drug and alcohol testing.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per yearSchedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availabilityExperience: Drum Mixer Driving: 1 year (required)Work Location: On the road
