Job DescriptionWe are seeking a proactive and adaptable professional to work with our Development and Sales Delivery Teams as a key contributor to our operational efficiency and data-driven workflows. This hybrid role combines data management, GIS expertise, Python scripting, and Microsoft 365 application development with frontline job coordination.The successful candidate will work closely with teams to understand user and business needs, implement solutions using tools such as Power Apps and Microsoft Lists, and support survey and job management using platforms such as Fulcrum and Power BI.ABOUT YOUYou may have a couple of years experience in a similar role, or you might have built your skills through project-based work and now want to step into something more dynamic and hands-on. Either way, you're someone who wants to be proactively involved not observing from the sidelines but actively involved in shaping how things get done.Youll be front and centre, taking ownership of data processes, understanding the real-world context of the jobs we deliver, and helping drive better ways of working across teams. Youre equally comfortable talking with users to gather requirements as you are getting your head down and delivering under pressure.Youll also be working closely with a small but capable in-house development team, contributing to the design and use of internal systems that underpin everything from client contact through to project delivery. You wont be coding those systems yourself (though an eye for logic and a bit of Python certainly helps), but you will play a critical role in shaping, testing, and deploying the tools that help us run the business smarter.You're someone who:Takes initiative and doesnt wait to be told what to do.Can switch between big-picture thinking and detail-focused delivery.Has a natural curiosity for how things work and how they could work better.Isnt afraid to get involved when the pressure is on.Wants to work somewhere thats growing, changing, and values input from all levels.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFrontline Project Coordination:Manage data collection projects involving large and complex datasets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.Coordinate survey and maintenance tasks with field teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.Act as the key liaison between data management, field operations, and client-facing teams.Data Management, Analysis & GIS:Manage and process survey data collected using survey platforms.Create simple Python apps to automate data processing, improve reporting workflows, or integrate data from multiple sources.Analyse and visualise data using Power BI, producing meaningful insights for internal and external stakeholders.Create and maintain mapping outputs using GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Mapbox.Microsoft 365 Application Development & Integration:Develop and maintain Power Apps, Microsoft Lists, Loop, and other Microsoft 365 tools to improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with users and teams to gather requirements and implement practical, user-friendly solutions.Support the ongoing optimisation of 365-based workflows across the company.User and Business Engagement:Listen to and understand user requirements, translating them into effective technical and operational solutions.Align user needs with broader business goals, ensuring systems and processes deliver tangible value.Provide training and support for staff using Microsoft 365 applications and other tools.Other Duties:Occasionally assisting with ad hoc reporting, data cleansing, or administration tasks during periods of peak activity or operational change.Occasionally Supporting internal system testing, documentation, or user training rollouts across departments.Participating in company-wide initiatives such as process reviews, systems audits, or new technology trials.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEssential:Strong experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Power Apps, Lists, Loop, and other workflow tools.Proficiency in Python, especially for data manipulation, automation, or system integration.Experience with data visualisation platforms such as Power BI.Hands-on experience with GIS and mapping tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox).Ability to gather user requirements, interpret business needs, and deliver tailored technical solutions.Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.Desirable:Familiarity with survey workflows, and operational project delivery contexts is advantageous.Training & Development:Training opportunities will be provided to support continuous development and upskilling, including qualification-related pay increases.
