Were looking for a highly motivatedElectrical Inspection & Test Engineerto take ownership of inspection, testing, and documentation across new projects and existing electrical installationsensuring the highest possible standards every time.Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of production, where your expertise will directly influence quality, compliance, and performance.The RoleAs a key member of our client's production team, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, fault-finding, and documenting electrical control panels and associated systems. Youll ensure all builds meet internal quality benchmarks and external compliance requirements, while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out quality inspections and electrical testing of control panelsPerform pre-power and functional testing, including PLC I/O and VSDs (AC & DC drives)Conduct insulation and resistance testing of power distribution systemsVerify components align with electrical design specificationsRead and interpret mechanical and electrical technical drawingsAccurately record test results, log failures, and identify & rectify faultsProvide feedback on failures and escalate issues where requiredEnsure all work meets company and external quality standardsMaintain calibration of all in-house test equipmentSupport panel build and wiring activities when testing demand allowsLiaise cross-functionally to ensure project briefs and timelines are achievedSupport VSD bench repairs for AC and DC drivesVisit external sites when requiredChampion Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery across productionTrain colleagues in line with your competency levelAdhere to all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental proceduresWhat Were Looking ForApprenticeship / Degree in Electrical Engineering / MechatronicsElectrical/electronic relevant engineering qualification xjdpvnf Previous experience in a similar role (minimum of 5 years panel wiring experience)Capable of using initiative and paying close attention to detailExcellent organisational and time management skills, capable of prioritisingDetailed knowledge of systems integration incorporating variable speed drives, robotics, PLCs and SCADA/HMI technologiesWhat's on offerHolidays 25 days (plus Bank Holidays)Pension schemeLife InsuranceEmployee assistance programmeFlexible workingProgramme of personal development & trainingFree car parking and EV charge points on-siteSocial & wellbeing activity programme
