Senior Commercial / Technology Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial / Technology Lawyer to support a high-volume, international commercial legal function on a part-time interim basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer with strong technology transactions experience, particularly in US-facing SaaS and sales agreements, who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced global business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, with a focus on:US-facing sales and SaaS agreementsGlobal procurement and vendor contractsAdvising internal stakeholders on contractual risk and negotiation strategySupporting business teams on day-to-day commercial legal matters across multiple jurisdictionsIdentifying and escalating legal/privacy issues arising during negotiationsProviding practical, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-moving environmentRequired ExperienceQualified lawyer with mid to senior level PQE / equivalent commercial experienceStrong background in commercial technology transactionsSignificant experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing and complex sales agreementsExperience supporting US-based commercial/sales teamsFamiliarity with global procurement contractingExcellent contract negotiation and stakeholder management skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience advising on data privacy / privacy-related contractual issuesBroader knowledge of privacy regulations and related commercial implicationsContract DetailsPart-Time: 20 hours per weekDuration: Initial 6–8 month contract, with potential for extensionWorking Pattern: Ideally 4 hours per dayPreferred Hours: Approx. 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM UK time to align with US stakeholdersLocation: Flexible, though candidates able to support US time zones are preferredIdeal profile may include UK-based lawyers able to provide overlap with East and West Coast US teamsAbout ElevateElevate is a global provider of consulting, technology, and services for law departments and law firms.
