Commercial Manager- Facilities Management PFI Experience Needed Location: Remote - Travel to sites required One of our long standing FM clients are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team. The successful applicant will manage commercial aspects of operational contracts, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure effective commercial management Responsibilities will include:Manage risk registers and dispute resolution with suppliers and customersEnsure commercial/contractual compliance and risk mitigationMonitor supplier performance against commercial termsLead commercial strategy on contractual disputesIdentify and support profit improvement initiativesNegotiate contracts within set boundariesManage project delivery, ensuring appropriate contractual arrangements with all stakeholders.Control project finances by monitoring and reporting spend, while advising clients on financial risks and budget management.Manage the tender process and appoint suppliers, ensuring value for money and best contractual terms.Manage supplier accounts and upload commercial records onto the business system.Ensure effective financial and commercial management in line with company proceduresManage supply chain expenditure and maintain pricing targetsEssential requirements: Demonstrable experience managing PFI FM ContractsStrong FM or construction backgroundExperience in dealing with construction defectsDemonstrable commercial technical knowledge and experienceExperience of NEC and Public Sector contracts – particularly PFI style contractsProven ability to successfully negotiate on high “value at stake” issuesA strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal awareness and influencing skills and a target/profit driven attitude with a focus on delivering resultsBenefits:Company pension scheme with employer contributions.Life Assurance Scheme.Subsidised healthcare plan.Charity work- Match-IT and Payroll Giving.Employee Assistance Programme Scheme (Confidential Counselling Services, 24/7 support specialising in health and medical topics).Discounts on high street shops and brands including several leading high street brands, retailers and travel suppliers.Progression, training and development opportunities.
