Operational / Data Engineer 552/day Inside IR-35 Telford - 2 days per week Contract until end of April 2026 Sanderson Government and Defence are supporting a public sector consultancy client in their efforts to support a government organisation within an anti-fraud function. Technical specifics are below, please note this is not a typical Data Engineering role. SAS 9.4 (DI), SAS Viya 3.x (SAS Studio, VA, VI) Platform LSF, Jira, Platform Support GIT Strong expertise in ETL tools: Pentaho, Talend Experience with data virtualization using Denodo Proficiency in SAS for data analytics and reporting Oracle (good to have) Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes) Strong SQL and data modeling skills Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities Reasonable Adjustments: Respect and equality are core values to us.
