Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWere recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Team Leader for one of our prestigious clients based in Telford!Youll join a modern, high-performance manufacturing site, ideal for someone with strong electrical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a background in industrial maintenance especially within fast-paced environments such as automotive, castings, or other high-volume manufacturing.You'll lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring safety, performance, and technical delivery are maintained to a high standard across shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role involving maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and driving continuous improvement.This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!What youll be doingLead a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers across rotating shiftsDelegate tasks effectively and monitor team performanceConduct start-of-shift briefs and communicate technical issues clearlyPerform hands-on planned and reactive maintenanceDiagnose and repair faults using electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematicsMaintaining equipment including die casting machines, robotics, presses, CNCs, Siemens PLCs, and conveyorsEnsure 5S and health & safety standards are consistently metSupport with machinery upgrades, installations, and improvementsPrepare maintenance reports and communicate key findings to site managementMaximise machinery uptime and reduce production downtimeDrive continuous improvement and support engineering process developmentHoursWeek 1: Mon-Fri6:00am-14:00pmWeek 2: Mon-Fri 14:00pm-22:00pmWeek 3: Mon-Fri 22:00pm-6:00amPay45,000 - 54,000 per annum (depending on experience)Skills/Experience Required Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance, with previous team leadership or supervisory responsibilityQualified in electrical or mechanical disciplines (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, 18th Edition)Proven ability to lead, delegate, and develop technical staffSkilled in fault-finding across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsCompetent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong understanding of health & safety practices (accreditation desirable)5S experienceFull UK Driving LicenceBenefits Competitive salary with shift allowancesCompany pension schemeEmployee profit-sharing schemeFree on-site parking and EV chargingOn-site shop and personal lockersFree tea & coffee throughout the dayAccess to health and wellbeing programmesOngoing training and career development opportunitiesEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).Must be commutable to Telford.
