Machine Operator Telford Permanent Split Day Shifts Hourly rate 12.47 About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This role is based in our Route Department , where you will be responsible for operating machinery used in cutting and routing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic machine operating experience who is looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery in line with work instructions and safety guidelines Set up machines for production runs, including basic adjustments Carry out cutting and routing operations to specification Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area Report machine faults, quality issues, or safety concerns Work collaboratively to achieve production targets Skills & Experience Basic machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment (essential) Cutting or routing experience (advantageous) Ability to follow instructions and read measurements Good attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Strong awareness of health and safety Reliable, punctual, and a team player What We Offer Permanent, stable employment Training and ongoing support Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunities for development and progression Working Hours This role operates on a day shift pattern with split shifts: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 14:00 14:00 22:00 Friday: 06:00 10:00 10:00 14:00 TPBN1_UKTJ
