Casual Site Support Assistant 13.50 per hour Location: Telford, (working across two school sites approx. 2 miles apart) Agency: I Need Staff Today Limited / t.a. Staff Today Client: 2 Primary Schools from Telford (~2 hours on each site / ~4 hours a day) Contract Type: Casual / As-required Staff Today are recruiting a Casual Site Support Assistant on behalf of one of our valued education clients. The role involves supporting the smooth running, cleanliness, and safety of two primary academy sites. You will be part of an environment that is friendly, supportive and committed to providing a safe space for pupils, staff, and visitors. This role is offered on a casual basis , with hours provided according to the clients operational requirements. Initially, the client anticipates offering around 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday , with the possibility of additional hours during school holidays. Please note that hours are not guaranteed. Key Responsibilities Replenish soap dispensers, toilet rolls, and hand towels. Carry out basic handyman duties (tools provided on site). Empty external waste bins and ensure correct disposal. Switch on heating in demountable classrooms each morning. Grit pathways during icy conditions and clear snow when required. Remove leaves and debris from key access paths. Support general site safety and presentation across both locations. Person Specification Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Practical, proactive, and confident with basic maintenance tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Committed to maintaining high health & safety standards. Flexible and responsive to changing site needs. Car owner/driver (essential due to travel between two locations). Additional Information Early morning attendance may be required, especially during colder months. Training and guidance will be provided by the client where necessary. Travel will be required between two academy sites approximately 2 hours apart . This role is supplied through Staff Today as an employment business.
