This is more than just a job its your chance to be part of a company that leads with purpose.Full training will be provided due to the bespoke nature of their machinery, and for the right person, there is a clear path to progress into a Maintenance Team Leader role within just six months.What we need from you:You will need to be a time-served apprentice with minimum 5 years additional experienceHold a Mechanical Engineering Qualification / HNC preferableBasic pneumatic and electrical experienceBe familiar with the use of workshop equipment consisting of lathes, surface grinders and pillar drillsBe competent in conducting mechanical fault findingHave planned preventative maintenance experienceProcess administrative skills and computer literate - Microsoft 365Highly motivated, proactive & progressive, and innovativeWhat this role involves:Carry out maintenance tasks as scheduled during and identifying deterioration in quality performance from the machine standardUse manuals and failure history to develop preventative tasksPrevent losses (equipment damage), accidents or injuries through use or maintenance of equipmentEnsure equipment is handed back to production in 100% safe conditionBe aware of incident reports and work with operational managers to promptly implement solutions to prevent re-occurrenceComplete corrective actions to return equipment to standard output, quality, and waste levelsRespond immediately to equipment failuresConduct systematic, rigorous, and accurate fault diagnosisDetermine most effective solution to the faultEffect the solution, and record on nature of fault, cause, and solution via computerised maintenance system using ExcelSalary: 35,000 per year + 4% bonus. Hours: 6:45am 4pm Mon Thurs and 6:45am - 11:45am Friday.
