We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lathe Setter Operator to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis. Our client manufactures quality products in a variety of stainless, carbon & nickel alloys in the Telford area. Previous experience operating manual lathes/machines is essential. Skills required: The ability to monitor the running of machines, ensuring they are loaded/unloaded with minimal down time Capstan and manual lathe setting & operating Working to tight tolerances ensuring quality standards are met using vernier & micrometer gauges Able to read engineering machining drawings This role may also involve performing other day to day duties as part of the team including grinding, thread rolling and packing.
