Job Description Manufacturing Supervisor (Electrical) | Automation & Equipment Manufacturing | Telford | Salary up to 39,000 | 2 roles available MERITUS are excited to be partnered with a leading Engineering and Automation manufacturer seeking to appoint 2 experienced Manufacturing Supervisors (Electrical) to help lead and develop their electrical build team.Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving productivity, quality, and on-time delivery across electrical manufacturing projects. You will manage a team of Electrical Fitters engaged in the build of complex automation and investment casting systems, ensuring work is delivered to the highest technical and safety standards.This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Supervisor or Senior Electrical Fitter ready to step into a leadership position within a fast-paced automation or equipment manufacturing environment.Main Responsibilities: Daily hands-on management, leadership, and motivation of an electrical manufacturing teamOverseeing the build of automated systems and equipment to engineering drawings and specificationsPlanning and allocating work across multiple projects to meet weekly production schedulesTaking ownership of projects and tasks through to successful completionEnsuring all Test & Inspection activities are completed and accurately recordedReporting daily and weekly project progress to the Manufacturing ManagerDriving a culture of continuous improvement across processes, systems, and team performanceEnsuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, PPE usage, and Risk AssessmentsRequired Skills: Minimum three years experience in a supervisory or responsible role within electrical manufacturingBackground in automation, machinery, or equipment manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience as an Electrical Fitter or Electrical TechnicianProven ability to deliver projects to timescales within fast-moving production environmentsStrong problem-solving capability and practical decision-making skillsTechnically minded, with knowledge of (or willingness to learn) inverter parameter configurationBenefits: Salary up to 39,000 25 days holiday + bank holidaysCareer progression within a growing automation and manufacturing businessOpportunity to lead high-value engineering projectsOngoing technical and leadership developmentGot your attention?If you believe that you have the skills and experience for the Production Supervisor role - then please get in touch.
