Job Description Days Maintenance EngineerTelfordDays Monday to Friday43-45,000Competitive salary and day shift available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with no night shift work.Experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineers with PLC Knowledge, required for a multi-skilled maintenance role at a large and reputable Telford based production company offering competitive salary and overall earning potential. You will be joining a diverse team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers from various sectors to include food, CNC, automotive and extrusion. JOB OUTLINEProvide electrical, PLC and some mechanical breakdown cover on fast moving production machines as well as the service and repair of various materials handling equipment in line with company policies and safe working procedures, demonstrating strong electrical fault finding, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to effectively deal with breakdowns to reduce disruption to production. THE ROLE:Continuous improvement of Electrical equipment, reliability and performanceDay-to-day attention to Electrical breakdowns and changeoversFinding the root cause of any production problems and finding ways to prevent the problems happening againElectrical and PLC fault-finding, re-wiring and panel inspectionSafe installation of machinery and control panelsInstallation and service of machining and process equipmentTHE CANDIDATE:Experience within a manufacturing or production industry environment is essentialPLC knowledge essentialExperience in a heavy industrial environment advantageousElectrical ability essential, additional mechanical also desirableFormal qualifications to NVQ, C&G or ONC in electrical disciplineTime served engineering apprenticeship advantageousThree-Phase electric experience desirableIn return for your skills and experience:This is a full time position with a company offering long term employment prospects with overtime available to boost Annual earnings to over 45,000EXCELLENT employment benefits to include competitive holiday entitlement, sick pay and contributory pension.My client is keen to meet experienced electrically qualified multi-skilled engineers.
