Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in TelfordFor the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering; £43,680 Per Annum + Weekly Production Bonus (depending on the businesses performance) 4 on 4 off 5:30 PM to 5:30 AMPermanent position Free parkingOvertime availableBonus schemeLife insuranceProfit sharing/share options The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer; Investigate faults and work with electrical and mechanical systems (such as Siemens S7)Carry out planned preventative maintenance and root-cause analysis for fault-finding on machineryAttend and diagnose machine breakdowns, including mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatics failures in an efficient mannerUtilise a range of tools and engineering techniques to repair and maintain machinery to operational standardsEnsure all maintenance issues are logged into the relevant systems accurately and promptlyMaintain high levels of compliance with health and safety standards whilst performing dutiesPlay a pivotal role in maintenance engineering projects and drive continuous improvement initiativesRegularly liaise with maintenance, production and quality departments regarding maintenance issuesService and maintain various other plant equipment, examples being: water heaters, pumps, etc.Adhere to planned maintenance schedules and effectively manage machine breakdowns What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer; Must have previous fault-finding experience, ideally relating to Siemens PLC run machinery- ESSENTIAL Must hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering (such as City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3, and 17th or 18th Edition)- ESSENTIAL The ability to design and manufacture basic electrical control panelsGood understanding of PLC systems, and the ability to use associated tools for interrogation of the softwareAn in-depth understanding of mechanical systemsAbility to understand engineering and electrical drawingsCompetent in Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and ProjectKnowledge of working with AC & DC CCT's, single & 3 phase systems and inverter drives Alternative job titles;Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Bias, Multi-Skilled Maintenance, PLC's, Siemens S7, 17th edition, 18th editionCommutable From;Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Bridgnorth, Shifnal, Newport, Market DraytonFor further information about this and other positions please apply now This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Recruit4staff (Telford) who are operating as a recruitment agency, agent, agencies, employment agency or employment business.TPBN1_UKTJ
