Job Description MOT Technician (Class 4 & 7) Heavy Mechanical Work IncludedLocation:TelfordJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary:Up to 40,000 per annumWe are looking for an experienced and reliable MOT Technician (Class 4 & 7) to join our busy and growing workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who not only holds a valid MOT testing licence but is also confident carrying out major mechanical repairs.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct MOT tests to DVSA standards on Class 4 and Class 7 vehiclesCarry out vehicle inspections and identify mechanical faultsComplete a wide range of repairs including:Gearbox replacements and repairsWet belt replacementsClutch replacementsGeneral servicing and mechanical workEnsure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standardMaintain accurate job records and MOT documentationFollow health & safety procedures and workshop best practicesWorking HoursMonday Thursday: 08:00 17:30Friday: 08:00 16:15Job Type: Full-time, PermanentRequirementsValid Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester licenceMinimum Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent)Proven experience in heavy mechanical repairs (gearboxes, clutches, wet belts essential)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceGood time management and attention to detailWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on skills and experienceStable, full-time position in a well-equipped workshopSupportive team environmentOpportunities for ongoing training and developmentIf you are a skilled MOT Tester who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is confident tackling major mechanical jobs, wed love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
