Heavy Plant Fitter Construction PlantLocation: Bath (South West)Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Salary: 18-23phNEOS Engineering are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join their busy construction and plant maintenance team. This is a hands-on role working on a wide range of construction plant, including excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, and wheeled or tracked machinery. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on construction plantDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficientlyPerform preventative maintenance to minimise downtimeAssist with breakdowns and urgent repairs on-siteFabricate and replace mechanical parts where requiredEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and safe use of PPEMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationOperate and test machinery safely after repair RequirementsProven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or equivalent roleKnowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical systemsExperience working on construction plant: excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, loaders, etc.Ability to read technical schematics and maintenance manualsFull UK driving licenceGood communication and team-working skillsAbility to work flexibly across different sitesDesirable:NVQ or apprenticeship in Plant Maintenance, xjdpvnf Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplineExperience welding or fabricating mechanical componentsCPCS or other plant operation qualifications BenefitsCompetitive pay 1823 per hour depending on experienceOvertime opportunitiesCompany vehicle or fuel allowance (if applicable)Health & Safety and skills training opportunitiesCareer progression within a growing teamPension and holiday allowance
