Streetworks Technician (Hybrid) needed in Taunton, 13.47phPAYE - Reference: OR25785Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.2 days in Office, 3 days remoteDriving Licence requiredLooking for a motivated and enthusiastic Street Works Technician to join our friendly team helping to keep Somerset moving whether you already have some experience, or more importantly, youre looking to start a career in highways, traffic management, or public service.What youll be doingAssisting with road closures, permits and network coordinationProviding basic technical advice (with support from senior colleagues)Using digital tools, mapping systems and databasesPreparing maps, plans, tables and reportsSupporting colleagues with administration and accuracy checkingDealing with members of the public and helping to resolve urgent highways issuesAttending meetings and occasional site visits as neededAbout youWe offer full training, so prior experience in Street Works isnt required just a willingness to learn and develop.
