Job TitleWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Activities Coordinator to bring joy and meaningful experiences to the lives of our residents.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will design dementia-friendly activities, build strong connections with residents, encourage social engagement, and promote wellbeing.Responsibilities:Develop monthly rolling programmes and one-to-one activities tailored to residents living with dementia.Take time to get to know each resident, building trust and understanding to ensure their individual preferences and care needs are met.Foster group activities and social events that promote interaction and enjoyment for all residents.Help residents maintain their hobbies and explore new interests, enriching their quality of life.Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and resident participation.Requirements:Specialised dementia experience: Knowledge of dementia care and supporting residents with varying levels of cognitive abilities.Event planning expertise: Ability to create and manage engaging activities and events.Empathy and creativity: A friendly, compassionate, and imaginative personality that shines through in interactions with residents.Teamwork and communication: Strong organisational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.Passion for elderly care: Genuine enthusiasm for enhancing the lives of older people, especially those living with dementia.BenefitsWe offer a supportive and fun environment, competitive salary, additional overtime pay, and generous annual leave.
