Job Description Full-time Teaching Assistant TauntonJob Title: SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: TauntonThe Role SEND Teaching Assistant with ANZUKAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to access learning, regulate behaviour, and build positive relationships within a structured and supportive environment.Key responsibilities include:Supporting students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH needs, and other additional needsAssisting with lesson delivery and adapting activities to ensure accessibilitySupporting EHCP targets and behaviour support plansMonitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staffPromoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategiesProviding personal care support where requiredHelping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with children with SEND, ideally within a school or specialist settingUnderstanding of strategies to support pupils with additional needsStrong interpersonal and behaviour management skillsResilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressureA collaborative approach and willingness to follow direction from teaching staffA valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)A valid Right to Work in the UKThis role is not suitable for applicants without a valid UK Right to Work.Benefits of Working with ANZUK EducationCompetitive daily pay with PAYE or Umbrella optionsOngoing support from a dedicated consultantOpportunity to gain experience within a specialist SEND setting100 referral bonus after 10 days workedAbout ANZUK EducationANZUK Education is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences in education.
