We have been creating advanced, science-backed formulas for over 90 years and we are trusted for delivering efficacious skincare solutions for face and body.MY ROLE AT A GLANCEThe Stock Controller is responsible for the stock management processes to ensure optimum stock levels, storage, tracking shipments and ensuring accurate stock records. It involves monitoring stock transactions, managing the WMS, supply planning and supporting operational efficiency within a warehouse environment.A DAY IN THE LIFEBe responsible for all stock transactions, run the warehouse management system (WMS) and the supply side of the demand plannerCoordinate with the Operations Manager on new purchase orders and forecasted orders across all the whole stock rangeCreate all new stock and bar codes, ensuring all the systems are fully updated with the correct codes, stock details in a timely mannerTrack reorder points and maintain minimum stock levelsManage the inbound stock from manufacturers to be delivered at the most optimum timeSupervise the receiving of goods and verify against purchase orders that have been raised within the WMS, producing exception reports for reviewAct as the primary point of contact for anything stock relatedEnsure proper storage and stock rotationMonitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply, including analysing stock data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items. Ensuring accurate stock records.Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical counts, reconciling to WMS stockEnsure the demand planner is populated with up-to-date stock levels at the start of each week and demand is adjusted accordinglyInvestigate and resolve stock discrepanciesContinually look for ways to improve the stock processes and suggest improvementsMaintain proper filing of delivery notes, invoices and stock recordsWork closely with warehouse, logistical, sales, operational and finance teamsChampion the WMS across the business and usage, supporting the warehouse on the processes and scanning implementationMange, prepare and present a dashboard detailing stock KPIs for the Senior Management TeamMY CORE OBJECTIVES ARE Inventory accuracy rateStock variancesStock turnover rateOut of Stock RateOverstock/Excess Inventory LevelCycle count completion rateOrder fulfilment accuracyWHAT I BRING TO THE ROLE Extensive knowledge in stock processes and supplier coordinationExperience in inventory management software and/or ERP systemsInventory control principles, reorder levels and stock rotation skillsKnowledge of manufacturing processes and experience of dealing with third party manufacturersExperience in stock counts, reconciliation and variance analysisExcel & data analysis skills to manage strict KPIsWHO WE ARESince becoming independently owned in 2021, GATINEAU has entered an exciting stage of growth, with ambitious plans for the future.
