Job Description We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for an Operations Support Operative to work as part of our Operations team.The Operations Support Operative will need to be able to complete tasks to a high standard whilst adhering to standard operating processes with stores.This role will effectively work with the Stores Operations and Construction Site-based teams to respond in a timely manner to deliver operational requests.The Operations Support Operative will need to accurately pick and distribute items for site. Over time, an understanding of PCE plant and consumable items will be key to this role.SummaryContract: PermanentLocation: Tamworth, this role is based at PCEs Head office in Tamworth Staffordshire, however, will require travel to PCEs construction sites across the UK, therefore valid driving licence will be required. Roughly 3 days at Head Office, 2 days on Construction Sites.Reports to: Operations Support ManagerCompetitive remuneration package25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, which increases during employmentPensionLife coverPrivate health insuranceEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Discretionary bonus, EOT Reward bonuses are based on business performanceResponsibilities including but not limited to:Stores OperativeGRN and distribution of deliveries received to storesUpdating systems with GRN evidenceStock control and weekly ordering of consumables and plant equipmentUse of PCE systems for ordering site plant and materialsDistribution of consumables to site and recording through PCE systemsProcessing of returned equipment from siteUndertaking stock takes and PI counts on a regular basisInvolvement in planning of plant list picking and demob plansGeneral delivery or collection of plant and materialsService and maintenance of plant equipmentChecking of LOLER / PUWER / PAT test itemsManagement of COSHH itemsAn understanding of M-Tec and pumping systemDemonstrate understanding and ability to follow plant service regimesSafetyResponsible for personal Health and Safety at all timesEnsure all visitors to stores abide by the H&S rules of the stores area and wear appropriate PPEEnsure all fire escape routes within stores are maintained correctlyDaily and weekly check on plant and equipmentGeneral DutiesEnsure building is secure and safe at all timesOwnership and responsibility of PCE equipment / tools / vansAssisting with general housekeeping duties for stores and warehouseAll other reasonable duties as required by the CompanyUndertaking training when requiredSkillsGood literacy and communication skillsEnthusiastic and drivenGood time keepingShowcase the right behaviours hungry, honest, humble, smartWillingness to learn new skillsComputer literateGood understanding of construction workUnderstanding of plant equipmentGood housekeeping standardsAttention to detailPromotes the Company in a professional manner, matching the PCE values at all timesAbout PCEPCE Ltd is an employee owned, forward-thinking superstructure and faade construction specialist, delivering HybriDfMA system build solutions on some of the most exciting and innovative projects in the UK.
