Job Description Paint/SMART Technician - SwindonI'm currently recruiting for an experienced Paint SMART Technician to join a well established and busy operation.This role will suit a technician who takes real pride in their finish, understands manufacturer standards, and values customer satisfaction just as highly as technical ability.The Role: You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality paint repairs, working efficiently while maintaining excellent standards throughout the repair process.Key responsibilities include:Preparing vehicles to a consistently high standardPreparing and priming bodywork in line with manufacturers' specificationsMixing, colour-matching, and painting repaired areas to a high-quality finishPolishing completed work where requiredIdentifying and advising the Bodyshop or Service Advisor of any additional work during repairsMaintaining strong product and technical knowledgeDelivering exceptional customer service that drives repeat business and referralsMaintaining excellent housekeeping standards and accurate job administrationWorking HoursMonday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pmSaturdays required on a case-by-case basis onlySalary & BenefitsBasic salary up to 35,000 (depending on experience)Monthly bonus up to 1,500Stable, long-term position within a professional bodyshop environmentWho I'm Looking ForProven experience as a Paint SMART Technician (or similar paint repair role)High attention to detail with a quality-first mindsetStrong communication skills and a professional approachReliable, motivated and able to work well within a teamIf you're an experienced Paint SMART Technician looking for a secure role with strong earning potential and sensible working hours, I'd like to speak with you.
