Ward Catering Assistant

Our NHS client based in Swindon has an exciting opportunity for a Ward Catering Assistant to join their team as soon as possible! This is a temporary role, which will be on going until further notice. The hours of work will be part time, working 07:30 - 11:30 on a 4 on 4 off basis. The pay rate for the role will be 12.21 per hour. Duties of the role will include:- Ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate food and beverage services to patients across hospital wards Responsible for taking and processing patient meal orders using a tablet based ordering system, aligning selections and dietary requirements Supporting the daily meal service and multiple hydration rounds throughout the shift Contribute and organise the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors to ensure the highest standards are met at all times We are looking for candidates who have previous catering experience who are able to deliver excellent standards to patients across the site.
