Shift Security Supervisor

Location: Swansea Salary:£29,525 - Due to the 24/7 shift rota, this role also attracts a shift allowance payment in addition to salary, which is at the rate of 35% of annual salary Contract Type:Permanent - Full-time, Job share, Part-time, Shift working You will be responsible for managing a dedicated team that maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff and visitors, supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the organisation. You will oversee and implement robust security measures to protect staff, buildings, equipment, and facilities across all DVLA sites, ensuring 24/7 coverage. The work that you will do is often physically demanding, so we do require a good level of fitness from you. The security team work on a 24 hour, 365 days a year basis and you will be required to work a continuous shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off throughout the year including weekends, bank holidays and public holidays in all weathers. Your shift pattern will consist of 12 hours worked on a rotation basis of either 6am - 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Management of Control/Security room duties and Security systems which include but not limited to: CCTV, Access control, Trakka safe, GPS Radio, Body Worn Video, Cortech IDS, Honeywell fire alarm system, Voice alarm System
