Position: Skilled Halal Butcher Employer: Wholesale Asian Foods Cash in Carry & Retail Store Location: Swansea, Wales Gross salary package: circa 38,000 + (incl.share of serv. chge +target led bonus) Weekly working hours/days: up to 48 hours / 5 days (tbc) Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) incentives, employers workplace pension,employee care and wellbeing support + more Other: Full Skilled Worker Visa sponsorshipand guidance for qualified overseas candidates. You will be responsible for Cutting, trimming, boning, and preparing a range of meats (beef, lamb, goat, and poultry) to customer specifications. Ensuring all products are processed in accordance with Islamic halal standardsand UK food safety legislation. Managing stock rotation and ensuring full traceability of meat products. Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety at all times. Providing excellent service to retail and wholesale customers. Training or assisting junior staff when required. To qualify for the role, you must meet the following minimum requirements: - Eligibility to live and work in UK Minimum 3 years professional butchery experiencein a halal-certified environment. Skilled in carcass breakdown, boning, portioning, and trimmingacross various meats. In-depth understanding of halal slaughter and certification processes. Food Hygiene Level 2 (or higher)certification Good English communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
