Job Description Learning & Development Co-ordinatorSouth Derbyshire30,000 34,000 + Excellent BenefitsHybrid Working 1 Day from Home per WeekFull Time | Monday FridayEaton Syalon are proud to be partnering exclusively with a manufacturing business to recruit a HR & Learning & Development Co-ordinator to join their South Derbyshire site.This role sits at the heart of the HR function and offers a balanced mix of HR generalist support and training coordination, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the people and development side of HR.You will work closely with the HR Manager and operational leaders across the business, helping to support day to day HR activity while also ensuring employees across the shop floor receive the training and certifications required to operate safely and effectively.The RoleThis is a varied HR position where HR support and training coordination are equally important parts of the role. You will provide day to day HR support to managers and employees across the site, while also taking responsibility for coordinating training activities across operational teams to ensure mandatory and role-specific training is organised, recorded and delivered effectively.Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will regularly liaise with managers, employees, training providers and HR colleagues to ensure both HR processes and workforce development run smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesHR SupportSupporting the HR Manager across a wide range of HR activitiesProviding guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and proceduresSupporting absence management processes and maintaining accurate recordsAssisting with employee relations processes including meetings and documentationSupporting recruitment processes including interviews and onboardingMaintaining accurate HR records and electronic personnel filesLiaising with payroll to ensure HR documentation is processed correctlyPreparing HR reports including headcount, absence and HR analyticsActing as a key contact for Occupational Health coordinationSupporting employee engagement activities and internal communicationsLearning & Development CoordinationCoordinating training across the business for operational employeesOrganising mandatory and externally certified training programmesWorking closely with managers to identify training requirements within departmentsBooking and coordinating external training providersMaintaining training records and ensuring compliance with certification requirementsMonitoring training completion and supporting development initiatives across the workforceIf you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please apply or contact the Professional Services team at Eaton Syalon for a confidential conversation.
