Job Description Registered Manager | Specialized Childrens ResidentialRGH Global is proud to represent a high-quality, 3-bed therapeutic provision dedicated to children with Learning Disabilities. We are seeking an inspirational Registered Manager to lead this "forever home" setting and act as a dedicated Corporate Parent and advocate for our young people.In this role, you will provide strategic oversight and clinical leadership to ensure every childregardless of communication or cognitive barriersis empowered to develop life skills and reach their full potential.The RoleStrategic Leadership: Act as the legally Registered Manager with Ofsted, ensuring the home exceeds the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.Therapeutic Excellence: Embed a child-centered, sensory-aware environment with high staffing ratios (1:1 and 2:1) to ensure safety and stability.Team Development: Recruit, supervise, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture based on the unique "Builders Philosophy".Advocacy: Work closely with families, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure robust pathway plans and positive outcomes.RequirementsExperience: At least 2 years in a residential childcare position within the last 5 years.Leadership: Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing staff in a care role.Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is highly desirable.Compliance: Must pass an Ofsted "fit persons" interview and possess a full driving license.Knowledge: Deep understanding of Safeguarding, SCCIF, and the Mental Capacity Act/DoLS.PackageSalary: Up to 65,000 (depending on experience).Environment: A specialized, sensory-safe 3-bed home.Impact: The opportunity to lead a service that prioritizes dynamic risk-taking within a "safety net" to help children become happier, more confident individuals.
