Our products are personal and meaningful, often purchased at emotionally significant times so this is a niche wheresensitivity, care and judgementmatter.Were looking for aCommercial Marketing Managerwho wantsextreme ownership: someone who takes responsibility for outcomes, drives improvements without being chased, and enjoys the challenge of building and scaling what works. Youll own and improve our digital marketing performance, with a clear focus oncommercial results ROAS, CAC, margin/contribution, and profitable growth.We operate onShopify, so Shopify experience is beneficial.Start-up mentality (important)This is a hands-on environment. While your core focus is marketing performance, youll need topitch in wherever needed jumping on urgent priorities, solving problems, and doing whats required for the good of the business. If you want narrow responsibilities and strict boundaries, this wont be the right fit.What youll be responsible forPaid advertising (Meta,Google Adsand other channels where relevant)Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns with a focus on profitable growthOwn performance: ROAS, CAC, contribution/margin, scaling efficientlyImprove targeting, creative performance, offers, and landing pagesKeep messaging on-brand, sensitive, and appropriate for the memorial categoryEmail marketing (shots) + segmentation (B2B focus) KlaviyoOwnKlaviyocampaign strategy and execution, including targetedB2B segmentsBuild email plans: audiences, messaging, cadence, offers, and measurementSupport and improve key flows where needed (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, reactivation)Report on email performance: revenue, engagement, deliverability, and list healthMaintain a thoughtful, respectful tone that fits the products and customer contextCommercial reporting & insightsProduce clear weekly reporting focused on ROAS and commercial impactIdentify whats working, what isnt, and the actions to improve performanceBuild a structured test-and-learn approach across channelsSEO (ownership + practical execution)Create and deliver an SEO plan that drives revenue and high-intent trafficCoordinate technical, on-page and content priorities and measure outcomesProduct listings (oversight + potential team management)Oversee product listing quality and performance across key products/rangesWork with (and potentially manage) a small remote team supporting product listing updatesEnsure product pages support conversion rate, AOV and paid traffic efficiency on ShopifyWebsite redevelopment (Shopify)Were planning awebsite refresh/rebuild in the near future, so youll provide marketing oversight and input to ensure the site supports conversion, SEO, tracking, and paid traffic performanceWork with internal/external partners on structure, messaging, merchandising, and launch readinessWhat were looking forProven experience delivering growth ine-commerce(Shopify experience beneficial)Strong capability across paid ads (Meta + Google Ads), email marketing (Klaviyo), and performance reportingComfortable owning results in asmall team / start-up environmentHighly commercial: you think in profit, ROAS, CAC, margin and scalabilitySensitive and thoughtful communicatorwho understands the products and customer contextHands-on, proactive, and practical you take responsibility and make things happenAble to work from our Minworth office 5 days per week (B76 1BA)Nice to haveExperience marketing in sensitive categoriesCRO experience (landing pages, conversion improvements, testing)Confident with GA4 / attribution / clean measurementExperience marketing to B2B audiences (segmentation and targeted outreach)How to applySend your CV and a short note covering:Outcomes youve driven (ROAS/CAC improvements, email revenue growth, SEO results)Which channels youve owned directly (Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo)Why youre a good fit for a niche, sensitive category and a small team environmentWhy you want a role withextreme ownershipin a growing start-up businessJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Casual dressOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
